We are doing the shopping as a family tomorrow. Ds and dd are painting her room. I have remade some curtains I bought last week at a rummage sale for her new room. I have cut out a blouse to sew up. Cross your fingers! This fabric could be a pain. Sunday the sun should shine so I can get outside!

Sis, dh's retirement party was fun. Quit a few stood up and had something to say. But all had nice things to say or something that was funny. They gave him a gift card from Bass Pro Shop and an album with pic of all the things he made for the library and each page had a little paper on it that had a note from someone that works there. A very nice memento.

I've had a great month! I'm getting my SS a small package ready to go out soon. I will send my questionaire in soon.

Nothing going on here. Dh is on a fishing trip. I wanted to clean out flower beds. Going to see how far I get this afternoon. Supposed to be a stormy weekend and rain off and on Mon and Tues.
I have 4 cats. The oldest is 17-1/2.

SS, I really liked the card I opened today. I haven't been on FC much this week. I was off from work today and just relaxed trying to stay cool-temps. are into the 80's during the day now-I'd rather have the 70's back.... Oh well, the seasons will come whether we want them to or not.
I have never done any paper embroidery, I do like to embroider-although I haven't done it for years. Right now I'm trying to knit a prayer shawl for my mom and then I want to make some stuff for our family reunion in July.
It's been a real nice month so far, but it's almost over... take care.

Sis, I loved the ecard that I got today.. it was beautiful!!! I had tears in my eyes when I read it. I loved all the ecards you have sent.

I still don't know who you are. Some of the ecards have a different email addy on them.. I know you did that to confuse me. You are doing a good job of that LOL. That's ok.. I'll find out soon who you are. Thank you for being a great SS. I enjoyed being spoiled by you.
