chuckle Everyone ready for Fall?

Do you think we'll even get a fall this year in SW Missouri? LOL It seems we just go from hot to cold. Is anyone decorating? What did you do? I have several different sets of Pilgrim Bears and scarecrows I like to decorate with. Also I have a cornucopia of fall colored flowers and leaves I received as I gift that I use for a centerpiece. Looking forward to hearing how you decorate.

Happy Autumn,

Dorothy

It has been hot here for the last couple of days, mid 80's, this is hot for Oct. in Missouri. It's supposed to be 75 today and cooler later in the week. I like fall's cooler weather but we seldom get it for long anymore. We just jump right into cold.

I do have some straw, mums, and a scarecrow in the front yard and a few decorations on the kitchen table. I already put out my "Praying turkey" He is very cute, I kinda skip Halloween and put Thanksgiving with fall.

We skip Halloween too and go straight to Fall/Thanksgiving decorating.

I've been enjoying the extra few days of warmer weather because I had some exterior house painting projects to finish.

Now it's going to turn cold this weekend and hubby's taking me up to Springfield for my birthday. I'll have to pack for cold, rainy weather, yucky.

Hope everyone has a good weekend, looks like our fall is arriving.

Dorothy

Hope you have a wonderful Birthday Dorothy, how nice to be able to get away with your dh. I live 50 miles from Springfield, lots of fun things there.

The Springfield trip was fun. The trip home, not. They are working on I-44. We were at a complete stop for 45 min. it was 44 degress out the the heat in the car stopped working. Brrr. A one hour ride ended up taking 2 1/2hr. Oh well, it will definitely be memorable. LOL!

I think fall has been and gone, how is winter treating the Midwest? Are you looking forward to spring?
It's still a hot summer on the east coast of Australia.
