Here is your first lesson in how to use the tools at GifWorks, you do not have to download this, you use this right there on the site.
go here www.gifworks.com when the page opens click on the one that says Gif works on line tools Now you should be on a blue page,with a browse button. Click on the browse button to find the picture you want in your picture file(just like on FC) When you find it and the picture file opens look at the bottom where it says Files of type, make sure in the blank space it says "all files" if it doesnt click on the drop down arrow to find it. Than click upload. Okay, now you are on a white page with your picture on the page. This is Important!!!! Look up in the right hand corner and you will see a box that says DHTML,make sure that box is UNchecked.When you uncheck it another screen will open with your picture on it. If its already unchecked do nothing. Now look and you will see an "EDIT" button click on that and than click on"insert text., your picture will open in another box and this is where youdo the text. Than take your mouse pointer and place the arrow on the part of the picture you want the writing to be, dont worry if you dont like it when it shows up, because if thats the case,click on the Edit button again and click UNDO., and you can do it again, as many times as you need to.I never get it right the first time lol. Than just save it to your picture file!!! Now if you want to resize it, like say on FC in the siggy linewhere it has to be 100x100 click the edit button again and click on resize. It will open a little box and all you have to do is type in the size(ie 100 x100-or if its for an avatar 50 x50,it will do it for you its not like in paint where you have to guess and play around with it. Remember ALL images you use have to be in the GIF format for this to work!!
I was just 'noisin' around FC and found this thread and had no idea what GIFworks was so I clicked it and then followed your directions and waaaaala...... I did it!!! LOL This was sooooo easy!! Here's one that I did....

Yes gifworks is an easy one , go here http://www.familycorner.com/forums/s...d.php3?t=15935 and go to the #5 post, and it tells you how to add text at Image Magick, I like it better,you have a bigger variety of fonts, and can even add your own font, easier than opening psp sometimes too, lol.
I am trying to do this and I see no Browse button to press. I have used the search box on the left side for Animation Factory and they charge a fee. Where is the "Browse" button?
