Thanks...I actually barely have anything planted for summer right now, everything else is my fall/winter garden...everything from winter squashes, kohlabri, beets, turnips, leeks, radishes, rutubaga's, potatoes, carrots, and I started seeds today of broccoli, bunch onions, lettuce, and more rutubaga's. I also have collards and cabbages too that I had already planted and now that we have unusually cool weather this August, they're really enjoying it all...I'll probably have a much bigger yield in the fall/winter because we had less than 2 full months of summer here.

I've started saving milk jugs to invert to help with watering the tomatoe and bell pepper plants this summer. More direct slow root watering this way.

Started a worm compost today... well it will be once I buy some red wigglers to put in it. Layered shredded newspaper with coffee/tea grounds and fruit/veggie scraps. I'm using an old plastic bin with lid that has been on my back porch for several years.
