What do you like to do with your friends?

DESCRIBE A PERFECT NIGHT SPENT WITH FREINDS!!!

First we would go to an early dinner at Woolgrowers! That's a basque restaurant, very popular here in Bakersfield.
Next we would go see a chick Flick, something with Julia Roberts or Meg Ryan. Then we would go to the arcades to play games...and that so I could bang on the drums!!!
Next we would go to Dewars Icecream Parlour for banana splits and, my favorite, "Black and Whites!" That's a sundae made with vanilla icecream, chocoalte syrup, chocolate icecream, marshmallow cream and chopped nuts!!!! Then we would come over to my house and sit in the front yard in lawn chairs all night talking!!!!

peace,train

Everytime I get together with 2 of my best friends (my sisters) We have a perfect time!!! We got together last week along with my 15 yr old niece & it was great. We went out to Red Lobster & then off to Gertrude Hawkes for some after dinner candies Then we travelled on to our destination....A concert with Fernando Ortega (who is a folksy christian singer) and Watermark who is another excellent christian group. We laughed & laughed & talked & even weeped a little at the songs. It was FANTASTIC!!! We live in a rural part of New York State & it took us 2 hours to get there & 2 hours to come home. So the best part of all? The travelling, the reminiscing and the memory making We stopped at Wendy's on the way home for a frosty & some fries and then came on home in the thickest fog you have ever seen - But it was fantastic and I can't wait until the next time we get together!!!

This just gave me an idea. I think I will plan a date with 2 of my best friends, my 2 daughters, for a night out. Movie at the dollar movie house, wander around WalMart or maybe ice cream treats at Grandees, our local ice cream parlor. Need to plan it soon. Then I need to plan a couple more dates with some other best friends, one with dh alone, and one with my only son. He would want to go to Walmart and play games in the electronics departmart, or in the arcade they have there. Hmmmm.....life is too short, better be planning these soon.
Hope you all have fun on your night outs.

I am soooooo embarassed! You would think I have never used a computer! I thought I was logged in under my name, but I discovered that I was logged in under my daughters account (clarinet_swimmer). Sorry for any confusion I caused. THAT'S how I would spend a night out, with her and her sister and so on.

I got together with a couple of girlfriends over the past week-end. We had not seen each other in quite awhile. We went to the pizza place & stayed there for just about 3 hours - We had a great time reminiscing, laughing & just enjoying each other.....I was a little nervous about going though - My 1 girlfriend was bringing her 8 yr old son & wanted me to bring my 8 yr old. I wanted some "girl time" and not some "kid time". The boys were fabulous!!! They had never met before but sat & talked with each other like they had known each other for years....They had their game boys & ate & talked & we never even knew they were there!!! It was a GREAT day!!!!
