Handprint Flag
We have done this each year with our children. It is a lot of fun and then we
raffle them off as a fund raiser. Parents love them. You will need One white flat
bed sheet, Red, white and blue paint.
We paint the upper left hand corner a blue square and then paint children's
hands using the white paint and press them on the blue square to represent the
stars. Repeat that for the strips using red paint We have also used the children's
feet for this. If you want to put it on a pole: staple the edge to a broom handle
(it fits nicely into a flag pole holder)
This can also be done on a large piece of paper and displayed in the classroom.
