How do I protect my lavender? I just planted it from seed late summer and it grew pretty big but I don't think it was in long enough to seed yet... I don't want to bring it in the house (I kill house plants sigh) so what can I do to protect it outside?
Thanks.

I would protect it with a covering of leaves and cardboard angled to help keep the weight of snow off of the plant. That is what I did with my strawberry plants last winter and they have tripled.
So something like maybe a tee pee of cardboard would work? And Roberta I was going to create a seperate thread on the strawberry plant as that is a issue I wanted to address so you answered a second question for me as well. So glad I ask before it was too late.

This time, the theme is going to be autumn/Halloween so your stories need to use smilies to express as many words as possible and your story should be focused on anything that has to do with autumn or Halloween.
Members will be allowed to submit one story pertaining to a Halloween story and one story pertaining to an autumn story. Please click here to enter!
