DD1 started riding the bus in 5th grade, before that she was in a private school and didn't live far enough away to be bused by the public school system.
DD2 has ridden the bus since pre-school which picked her up at our door now she goes to the bus stop. Though the next 3 years she will be going to a school that is just 4 blocks away so will walk.
