HI!! Lil'Sis........

I did forget to ask you about those "check dates" slips...if you would, I would love some. I always lie to slip those in every envelope. just to remind members. I try my best but those little devils that are out-dated, still slip past me.... (senior problems!) I have a sweatshirt, with the same slogan as your t-shirt. Cute.

Thank you for everything you do for me. I can't tell you just how much that means to me.

Love you,
"Big Sis" ~ ~ Carol Ann

Oooopppss...

Deb is quite busy with the three younguns...... She does alot of helping with the school's programs, in tutoring some of the slow learners. Plus, helping her own with their homework... which never ceases to end. But the Indiana school system is a good one, from what she tells me.

~ ~ Jeff is really climbing the ladder of success, with being a Chef, at Morton's, in Indianapolis, plus in management. Has been on many news programs showing alot of their recipes. One top favorite is Key Lime Pie. All in all, they are doing very well. I sure do miss seeing them all, though.

Hi there CarolAnn,
Thanks for the coupons you have sent me over the past 6 or so months!! They are really helpful! I only wish our stores did double coupons out here. All our stores went on strike LAST October and only recently did the strike end. I normally shop at "Vons", one of the stores that was on strike. While they were striking I started shopping at "Food Max", a discount warehouse type store. At first I did not like it because, well, I was spoiled because at Vons they pack your groceries!!!!! But, oh, the money I have saved with the combination of it being a discount store AND using your coupons!!! And I have learned where everything is!! It was so overwhelming at first to learn a different store!! And, hey, I am getting pretty good at bagging groceries!!!

I went back into Vons when they "reopened" and their prices were so high!! I spent $25 and got hardly anything!!

I have a coupon question...........are the ones I send you different then the ones you get in Michigans newspaper? I was just wondering if the same coupons were put in all papers or if they were different? I am very careful about checking what I send to you so that they are not expired..........As a matter of fact.......you would get a big kick out of me cutting my coupons at the bowling alley!!!!
Yep, you read right!! I am in a bowling league and I take my coupons every week to clip for you!!! I'll be sitting there cutting away and drinking my soda and they'll say, "Donna, it's your turn to bowl!!" I don't have a competitive bone in my body!! I just sit there clipping my coupons!!!! A few ladies at the alley bring me their coupons, too!! A couple of the bowlers have asked, "Do you use ALL those !!!???" And I tell them "no, they are for my dear friend in Michigan!!!!

And I agree, Janet does a wonderful job on your labels and cards!!!

Love ya, Donna

Donna, in answer to your question, Yes, I find that coupons do differ, as to where they are located. Mostly the amounts on them, and not so much the product. I'm finding a higher discount advantage when I receive from Florida. They most always, are for the same product, but much different in c/o's. Local papers tend to gve better discounts, also. I have my local and they don't give as many in quanity, but they do give a variety that the big newspapers do not offer. Lately, our regular stores only have the double, up to .50 off coupon days. Haven't had any better offers in quite awhile. I go absolutely crazy whenever a triple c/o is offered!!

As for your bowling....(((chuckles))) I can almost picture you doing your coupons. Too funny! You sound as if you are almost as obcessed, as I!! I get such a 'high' from all of this, and no one understands just "why".
