| Good afternoon all!!
Patti, just take your time. I know how it is when your hands are hurting. And this weather is not doing them any good.
I went shopping before church this morning, and I just have to share.
I stopped at the convenience store with my gc and picked up my standard 4 newspapers. Obviously I didn't use any of my money.
Next I went to CVS because they are selling the Accucheck diabetes meter for $14.99 (sells for $65). I had a $10 coupon, used that, making the cost $4.99. Viola - there is a rebate form in the package, and I will get back my $4.99. (Total cost for this - $0). I will donate this to the Rescue Mission for a $65 donation letter. Plus - BONUS - I got $10 in Extra Care Bucks. So I used that $10 to buy some feminie necessities, which were priced at buy 1, get the 2nd for 1/2 price, and a canister of cashew nuts which I can have on my diet as a snack. The total cost for these goodies after we subtract that $10 was $2.09. Tell me I am not in "Shopper's Heaven".
Then I went to church and the sermon was on financial responsibility. I always think that if I am getting the most for my money that I am being a good steward of the money that God entrusts me with.
Take care all, and Happy Clipping!! Norma
