Carol Ann,

Did you get an envie in the mail for me? I included a note on a yellow sticky note. Hope it did not get lost in the coupons! LOL The next envie out will have new stamps. It should be another full envie with all the inserts last week and this next week.

Good morning all!!

Carol Ann, I finished off an envie for you last night. It will go out in tomorrow's mail.

Mystery Guest - I have a question for you. Would you like to save upwards of $2,000 per year on food (including eating out)??? If so, come join our group. It takes some work - scoping out the sales, matching them with coupons for the lowest prices, and clipping and mailing your unwanted coupons (each week, and what you find in the grocery aisles),with a "wish list" and 2 stamps to Carol Ann. She can fulfill your "wish list" and mail you only coupons that you want. This is truly a win-win situation.

Well ladies, I have to dash, it is almost time to go get the goodies!! Norma

Wellllllll, as you can see, I've entered ino my 'siggy' and really goofed it up! LOL Sorry 'bout that! I'll ask for help, from someone that knows what they're doing. (It sure isn't me!) ~ ~ Thank you Barb, Patti, Andrea, Norma, and Blondie, for all your donation coupons, that I received this past week. ~ ~ You asked "How I do it." Because I love doing it! I receive your unwanted coupons, sort and file them into a two drawer cabinet. So, they are ready to give out. In another cabinet, I have filed all the members by number, and pull them out, by number, when a request comes in. I then fullfill each request, and mail them out. I go through the coupons at two week. intervals, to sort out those coupons that will expire. Those coupons go to the military, for use. I can do this mainly because I have the time, and "want" to do so.......NO children, only my "girls". I do all the sorting and filing when they SLEEP! I guess it would be said that this is alot of 'work', but I don't. I love doing it all, and helping others be frugal. I get a kick out of reading of everyone's savings. Especially Norma's! She is the Queen of Bargins! ~ ~ Have a great sunday everyone!

Albertson's has Hormel Chili W/O beans on sale 10 for $10 until tuesday. There are blinkie coupons on the shelf for 75 cents off of 2 cans. I cleaned out the shelf...only 6 cans, but hey, what a deal!
I think these are normally well over a dollar a can.

That sounds like a lot of work Ms. Carol. I am glad you enjoy it though. It is good that you can help the troops as well. Well I may have to give this a try once I am revealed. Have fun saving and I will start cutting out my coupons tonight.

Good morning all!!

Carol Ann, that next envie will be on it's way today.

I want to remind everyone that postage has gone up to $.39. And $.25 for a postcard.

I didn't have any great savings yesterday. Didn't use a single coupon at the market. Someone else gets my "crown" as queen of savings this week.

But I have to go and "re-visit" the store. I saw $.50 coupons for Quaker Oatmeal, and the store had it on sale for $.99 for the smaller container. I can stock up for the mission, or the food pantry, or whoever. I also think I saw a couple of other items, but since I didn't get the papers until I got home, I couldn't take advantage of the deals.

Well ladie, better go for now. Oatmeal for breakfast, and then out the door.

Take care all!! Norma

Thumbs up

Quote:
This price increase – the first since 2002 – is needed to fulfill a federal law passed in 2003 that requires the Postal Service to place $3.1 billion in an escrow account by October 1, 2006. Without this federal mandate, it would not have been necessary to raise prices in 2006. Among the adjustments, the 1 ounce single-piece rate for First-Class Mail will increase from 37 cents to 39 cents, and the postcard rate will increase by one cent, to 24 cents.
Norma, The postcard rate only went up a penny to 24 cents........
