Neat quick ornament that you can make and give as a gift...and even nicer with the use of a gold pen on the back of the ornament you can add a name and date given http://www.allfreechristmascrafts.co...-Ornament/ml/1
Thank You...I did not realize it was not right...I usually try to make sure they at least look right...I a finding more of hers...had not meant to post hers as she might want to post her own...But it was too cute. and I had not seen it was hers...I must be getting more batty than I thought...
Deb, If you like crafts, you may be interested in signing up for our annual Christmas Ornament Exchange. We exchange ornaments with those that sign up. The can be homemade or store bought. I have all the ones I've exchanged with since I started doing it several years ago.

I'm sure that Amanda doesn't mind at all that you're posting her crafts. She has many on the main website here at FC + all on her blog and many other craft sites! She has really earned the Crafty Amanda name!!
Minny, can you fill her in on how it works, please? It's great fun. While you're at it, check out the Christmas card exchange, too!!!
Deb, It's very simple. When we post the sign up page, you just post that you'd like to join the exchange. Then you PM the people you want to exchange with from the list & ask them to exchange with you & give them your mailing address & ask for theirs. This must be done through a PM as no personal info can be posted on the boards.
After you have a list of who you are exchanging with, you send me your list & let me know when you have them sent out & who you've received from. You would send a personal thank you to the person you received from. The reason for this is so that I can keep track of who has fulfilled their exchanges.
The ornaments can be homemade or bought at the store if a person isn't very crafty.
We like to have the ornaments all sent out by the first week of December, if possible...earlier if you are sending to someone outside the USA.
Looking forward to having you join us this year. I have some very cute ornaments that I've received & I treasure each & every one of them.
That sounds like something I would be interested in, Minny. I'm so happy you explained how it works. What is the Christmas Card exchange? I remember seeing it and posting that I liked it. I believe I would like to do that too if you could explain to me how it works please. Thank you.
Hugs, Paula
Paula, I'm not sure about the Christmas Card exchange, but I imagine it works basically the same way. You could go on that thread & ask someone there. Maybe some one here can help you with that answer. I don't do that one since I try to remember to put a card in each of my ornaments that I send out. I hope you will join us for the ornament exchange. I've gotten some really cute ones through the years. I have a wreath that I display the current ones on & a small tree to display the older ones on. I'm gonna have to figure out some other way to display them all. We don't have a lot of room here for another tree.

The Christmas card exchange is very simple....
Once the new thread is up and running, there will be a link to a simple form to fill out for your name and mailing info. You sign up to send to everyone in the group (usually 30 -40) OR you can sign up to send to a single group of 10 -12 - if there's enough people to sign up that I can break it down that small.
It's so much fun because you end up receiving a card every day or so for a couple of weeks! Lots of Christmas joy. You have to send a snail mail card, not an ecard so that everyone can enjoy them. My kids can't wait to see where the cards come from! Don't forget, we have other countries besides the US on here, too. It's so cool to get a card with Santa in a swimsuit from Kathy in Australia!! My kids still talk about that one every year!
