Lava Lamp

I have an old Lava Lamp and would like to make it new again. The liquid is cloudy and what ever is used for the lava just looks ugly. Can someone tell me what to use and how to update my lamp. Thanks.

Hmmm, i honestly dont know, but i have been told that once the water turns cloudy, thats it for the lamp.

Good luck though.

Once a lava lamp turns cloudy..there is nothing you can do to bring it back to life.

The liquid part is an oil based product & the lava is plastic..the heated bulb heats the plastic and it moves through the oil product.

If you shake a lava light when it is hot..it will become cloudy.

Check out shops like Spencer gifts, there are lava lights there..

Hugs, Janet

Hey, don't give up yet...do a google search and see if there is a way to make a homemade lava lamp...maybe oil and glitter flakes?

Hugs, Janet
