Some of live higher levels of stress than others with children, jobs, and so on. What do you do to take care of yourself to help sooth the stress and keep you going? For example, do you get extra sleep, drink hot tea, snuggle with your pets, or what?
DeBora, I feel the LEAST qualified to answer your question since I do not have a job OR a child............
What I do to take care of myself though is daily prayer/quiet time; reading, spending time with my family, sitting outside on the porch and bubblebaths.
Welcome! to that part of me that rises up and starts protesting or protecting, rather than ignoring it and stuffing it away...it helps me to deal with the little stresses of the day as they arise
slowing down to do this helps a great deal
