  Valentine Marble Magnets
by Amanda Formaro

This Valentine's Day, make these adorable magnets using clear flat marbles, colored paper and a little decoupage medium. They are easy to make and the fun conversation heart phrases make them great gifts for friends, family, and teachers!

What You Need

Flat glass marble magnets
Pastel card stock
Black fine point Sharpie
Scissors
Mod Podge decoupage medium
Paintbrush
Pencil
Small magnets
Hot glue gun

If you make this project we'd love to see it! Just send your photos and comments to the editor and it may get published on our Facebook fan page!

What you do

First use the marker to write conversation heart sayings on pastel paper, such as hug me, kiss me, be mine, bff, etc. If you like, you can also use your printer to put the phrases on.

Place a marble over the top of the phrases and trace around the outside of the marble lightly with pencil.

Cut out the traced circles, cutting the circle a little smaller than the actual tracing.

First paint some Mod Podge onto the flat side of the marble. Put the paper circle in place and paint Mod Podge over that as well. Leave the marble round side down to dry.

After it has dried, then attach magnets to the back of the marbles using hot glue.
