Make the entire snow family to hang on your tree! Better yet, make several sets to give away as gifts to teachers, the mail carrier, family, and friends!
You will need
Wood tags
White acrylic paint and a brush
Sandpaper
Black sharpee pen
Pompoms: red, black & white
Chenille stems: white, red and orange
Felt: red, green, blue
Tacky glue or hot glue gun with glue sticks
Jute or other string to hang
Holly, beads or other embellishments of your choice
Sparkle (optional)
Paint tags white. Let dry. Sand off rough edges. Paint 2 more coats and let dry. Put a piece of string or jute through the hole and tie ends together for a hanger.
Cut hats and scarves from felt . Mix & match colors as desired. Glue hats and scarves on the front of the wood tags. Cut pieces of white chenille and glue on hats for "fur" brim. Glue a pompom to the top of each hat.
Use make-up blush to "rosy" cheeks if you like. Make noses by wrapping orange chenille around the pointed end of a pencil and cutting off at the point. One stem will make all 4 noses. Glue nose in center of face. Glue eyes above and draw on mouth with pen.
You can brush on glitter if you like sparkle. Add any other embellishments of your choice.
