Craft Supplies

  Fabric Pencil Case
by Melissa Yamello

Here's an easy craft project that will help your child get back into the groove for school! It's a great project for both boys and girls. Keep it simple or add detail with embellishments. Each pencil case will hold about 6 pencils.

Grown-ups: Join the fun and make your own to keep that junk drawer organized!

What you need

1 - 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of label paper
This can be found at office supply stores, in the label section. These sheets can be used for so many different craft projects, it's worth having some around.
1 - piece of fabric at least 8 1/2" x 11"
1 - pair of scissors (or safety scissors for small children)
1 - hot glue gun and several glue sticks
If you are working with a small child, you may want to use craft glue instead.
1 - self-adhesive velcro tab or dot
Optional - 1 Pair of pinking shears, buttons, rhinestones and other embellishments
