Watermelon Cookies

These watermelon cookies are easy and fun and the kids will enjoy helping as well! What a festive addition to your summertime picnic or party. Great for the 4th of July or any summer festivity.

What You Need

Sugar Cookie Dough

3 3/4 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup butter or margarine, softened (not melted!) 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 6 drops red food coloring 1 cup miniature semi sweet morsels


1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted 2 tbsp water 15-20 drops green food coloring
