Review: Kiki’s Jammers – A Poolside Hit

The hot days of summer are still here and that means that many of our days are spent hopping from one water activity to another.  With four active boys, we spend a lot of time with water guns, water balloons, water tables, and using up our energy in the pool.  That’s why I was so excited to try out Kiki’s Jammers.

Kiki’s Jammers are fun towel shorts for kids that come in a variety of vibrant flavors.  Don’t make the mistake of calling them “colors”.  The idea was born from Grandma Kiki who wanted something dry and warm for her grandkids to wear home from swim practice. So she started cutting and sewing their bold-colored towels into absorbent clothing.  What started as a family business is now a national line of unique apparel including towel pants, shorts, skirts and bags offered in a variety of flavors.

Review: Kiki’s Jammers – A Poolside Hit

My boys couldn’t wait to wear their jammers to the pool.  A trip to the pool is quite the production for our family.  With the chaos of packing up all of our snacks and pool toys, it was such a relief just to slide the jammers on over their bathing suits and know that they would be dry for the ride home.  Plus, they have that uniqueness factor that makes them a hit with the kids, and they are machine-washable which made them a hit with me!

We also love them for water play at home.  I would especially recommend them for parents of girls who want something that’s modest, but also practical for playing at the beach or pool.  And, anyone who has a child on the swim team will love these for those cold weather swim meets.  With their vivid flavors and soft terry fabric, they are sure to be a hit with kids of all ages!

Kiki’s Jammers can be purchased at Kiki’s Nation online and retail for $24.50-$34.50.
