With Thanksgiving right around the corner, you’ll want your kitchen knives to be in tip top shape. Chopping celery and onions for the stuffing isn’t the only task your knives have ahead of them. Carving the turkey into beautiful, juicy slices  shouldn’t be a chore. So getting your knives sharp and ready to go is essential.

Did you know that you really should sharpen your knives once or twice per month depending on how often they are used? Using a dull knife is a danger as you’ll need to press harder and the chances of your knife slipping are much greater.

I had the opportunity to try out the AnySharp knife sharpener. I already had a small hand held knife sharpener, but now I don’t use it anymore. One of the problems I had with my old one is that I am left-handed. Therefore, I had to hold the sharpener in place on the counter in an awkward position to enable me to use my left hand.

With the AnySharp sharpener, I simply suction the sharpener onto the counter using the handy lever and sharpen away! It has a patented PowerGrip suction cup which attaches securely to any smooth surface, eliminating slipping and jamming. Once attached, knives can be sharpened single handed, eliminating the issues I had with being left-handed! It keeps both hands away from danger. No more worries about the device moving around on the counter. It’s also small and compact, making it very easy to store and access again whenever I need it.

Are you a crafter? Do you like to sew? The AnySharp’s top also has a useful scissor blade sharpener and has a long-lasting polymer guiding top that is softer than metal, and therefore won’t damage the metal edge, making it safe for the knives too.
