What you do

You will want to start a day ahead. Place various silk flowers and/or foliage into plastic container. Fill container halfway with water. Place in freezer until firm. Fill container with more water, enough so that when the candles are placed in they will stick out the top. Place contaner in freezer in a stable spot, then place candles where you want them in the water. Add a few pieces of foliage and/or flowers if you like. Freeze until solid. Remove frozen candle centerpiece from freezer about 15 minutes before guests arrive. Place a couple of small towels onto a platter or plate and place the centerpiece on top. Place extra foilage and silk flowers around the centerpiece and light the candles. You may need to change out the towels later in the evening so keep a on it.
