Have you been hit by the cold & flu viruses yet this season?

I can't tell you how good it is to be back sitting at my computer with my friends here at FC.

It's been 3 weeks of torturing and for my entire family. It's bad enough that I ended up with Bronchitis but then my kids went through 2 rounds of a stomach virus--and of course, they had to share it with me. Today, I think that we are all finally starting to feel human again. We went through plenty of so this weekend I'm hoping that we can catch up on .

Everyone around us seems to be sick with something. Have the cold & flu viruses hit your family yet this season?

No flu and did have the flu shot but did have another bout with dear ole Bronchitis earlier this year and DR gave me med and nipped it in the bud so to speak.
Strep throat has been all around me but so far thank God I have not gotten it.
Take care all and God bless

My dd has been the hardest hits with Phnemonia and 3 bouts of a cold virus and 1 flu.....my MDS who usually is the sickest has breezed through this season. I am sick with a head cold and it is really affecting my asthma....may have to make a trip to the hospital to have a treatment as nothing I have at home seems to be helping...nothing worse than feeling like you can't breath or that there is an elephant sitting on your chest...LOL

Not me. I haven't been ill at all. As long as I make and drink my silver when I have been exposed to a virus, I don't get sick. Everyone where I work has been so sick, they've missed work. There is supposed to be some sort of virus that has gone around that wasn't in the flu shot. I never get the flu shot either. DH has only been sick once, but that was because he's in NM and wasn't around me so that I could make him some silve. I was able to make him silver the next 2 times he was exposed and he avoided getting ill.

Big Hugs, Debbie!! I felt exactly like you are describing. They gave me a breathing treatment at the hospital, too. I still have the cough lingering...and it still hurts my chest when I cough.

I hope that you get some relief soon! That is the scariest feeling of all.

I hope that everyone is feeling better soon! This is one of the worst winters for sickness that I can remember in a long time.

Thumbs down Ugh

omigod- it has been terrible. Started over a week ago- nastiest cold I ever had - could not breathe, did not sleep for 2 days I was so stuffy. Nothing helped. Hacking cvough turned into serious asthmatic bronchitis. 60(!!) mg of prednisone finally helped. YUCK!!! And this is the 1st year I missed a flu shot
