Tara i think it is good they are checking everything out.....like they said it is probably nothing but if there was finding it early is much better . Hope you are not stresssing too much over this. I have not had any cysts removed in my breast tissue but have had them removed from many other places......it was very painless......they froze the site and cut the cyst out a few stitches and I was on my way...my oldest son had a huge one cut out of his back just in the office...I think 5 stitches and he was fine.

Hi everyone, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I've had alot going on lately with my kids and their school activities. My oldest son had his Christmas choir, my youngest son had his Christmas program @ school,my 2 teenage boys have their Christmas dance tomorrow, my youngest boy had his dance tonight. We have been getting ready for Church on Sunday, my dd and ds are in a Christmas play @ Church, then we have a luncheon after. We celebrated my mil's bday tonight. I've had to do shopping for all my kids for their Christmas attire, put up my tree and we've all had doctor and dentist and eye doctor appts. It has been crazy around here. To top it all off my dd volunteered me for her Christmas party. I just found out and was paired up with one of the girls father. We have exactly 5 days to put this all together. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! We have the food covered. I need games and crafts. Something simple and very low cost.

Now to get to my appt. The doctor did an exam, looked at my films and he even showed them to me. He was very nice. He didn't feel any lumps. He showed me on the films the lumps that they were seeing, he too believes they are lymph nodes. He said we don't know for sure since this was my 1st mammogram and I have nothing to compare it to but he's pretty confident. He didn't feel a biopsy was needed at this time. He said if I was worried we could do an MRI and that would tell more but he was just recommending the repeat mammogram in 6mos. That will be in June. He said they used to do them in 2-3 mos. but found that the breast tissue changes slowly. He said if it was anything when I have the next mammogram it would change by then. He showed me the lumps and how they were black in the middle and he said that is what makes them pretty sure they are lymph nodes, so I'm not worried like I was before. I told him he's the doctor and I will trust his judgement. He said just make sure I do my regular monthly exams and if I notice any changes to call and get in there right away. Thank You all for caring and for your support in helping me through this.
