Sit comfortably, with some type of timer or alarm clock handy. Set the timer for one minute.
Now close your eyes, and begin to count your thoughts. As soon as a thought appears in your mind, count it, but don't 'get into' the content of that thought. If you do, you may only end up with a count of one thought for your entire minute

Turn the lights down low, light up candles or use my candle melts to put off scent, my favorites all year round are Lilac or Jovan Musk for Women, TV turned off and curl up in my big comfy chair with a quilt and read a book. Complete serenity.

Summer time swinging on my porch swing in the early morning or late evening when it's the quietest in my neighborhood.

Oh and new over the past 6 months, taking my young pup for a walk through the neighborhood.

Anna good seeing you on a thread. I like going out on my porch too when the weather lets me. Also get on bed and read daring anyone to poke their head in my room. And only answer the phone if it is a "have to" call.

Working outdoors and getting yardwork done relaxes Me. Enjoy breathing the fresh air and using muscles raking. Each day makes You feel stronger bending and picking up leaves.

Watching everything grow and bloom afterwards is rewarding.

Sueanne I miss working in the yard. But that is a no no for me now . But I am able to plant in my big planters. Fill my feeders. So that too helps me to unwind
