Well, I'm getting pretty darned upset/worried right now. The radiologists office called & said I need to see the clinic Dr. & get an MRI done. Since I don't have insurance I cannot afford to get this test. I'm pretty certain the free mammo program won't pay for the MRI. The clinic Dr. can't see me until Feb. 3, so I just have more waiting/worrying. crud! momperson

Is there some sort of "free" clinic you could go to? My brothers gf who at the time was only 19 had breast cancer with no insurance. She somehow got everything paid for with little out of her pocket! By the way she is fully recovered at 25!

Well Ladies I went in for additional compression views and an ultrasound of my right breast. There is definitley something there (they are calling it a mass for lack of a better description at this time) Tomorrow I go in for a biopsy. I will be out of work for 2-3 days and they said it would take 10 days to get the results of the biopsy back. I'm still thinking positive thoughts.

Kimmyo you are doing right by thinkig positeve I had a scar about 2 yrs ago it is a scary thing. Take it easy after you byopsy i was alittle sore after mine take care and please keep us posted.

I'll be thinking of you.. Please let us know how you do..and Don't hesitate to ask for analgesia.... If you are at all uncomfortable...make them WAIT for you to be comfortable.

Hey everyone! Thanks for your well wishes and prayers!

I went in for my biopsy yesterday and they removed a mass the size of a tennis ball from my right breast! First reports indicate it is NOT cancer. The final report will be back next week.

The doctor said we couldn't feel it because it was like rubber and it moved around everytime we manipulated it. I'm not feeling too bad tonight. A little uncomfortable but no real pain. I will probably be out of work til Monday.

Well I better go rest some more!

Oh my gosh! I'm so glad to hear that they feel it is good news~.. Isn't amazing to know that we carry these things around with us??

I'll keep praying ..It seems to be working so far... keep up with the tylenol/whatever..

My Dr. called me this afternoon & I definately need a biopsy. No medical insurance, so need to figure this out.
