hi well here is my frugal things for today..
my bil is down from michagan, and the whole family is stying out at the lake for the night. they have been there all weekend, but we are only going for the night. they took the jet ski, the boat, and the rv yesterday. were going to sleep in the back of our truck on the air mattress, and just hang out to night.

ive been selling some things on ebay, and im up to 120 towords the trailer. that plus the 125 i got for the furnature is enough to buy it. so now i gotta come up with the money to fix it and move it.
on a side note..i was iformed yesteday that i have to have surgery to remove a mass of tissue from my breast. it is called frobistic breast disease. if anyone knows anything about this..please talk to very afraid. i have to schedual the surgery this week...then im suposed to be out of commissoin for the rest of the summer. no more horse back rides, or anthing like still going to try to go fishing tho...just have to have joe reel in the really big

well everyone. have a good at you all later.
See how I live on less than $20000 a year!

Ericka--don't panic. MANY women (including myself) have FBD. Go to this link to read more:

Also go to and type in fibocystic breast disease for MANY infomrative sites.

What I want to know is why the doctor is doing surgewry for FBD???? This is from the second site:

If you find these lumps do they have to be surgically removed?

No, most lumps can be evaluated without surgical removal. Breast specialists use ultra sound, fine needle aspiration, and sometimes mammography to determine whether a lump needs to come out.

I've had this for years and have never had surgery for it. Mammograms yes and a near biopsy for an unexplained lump but NOT FBD.

BEFORE you have surgery get a second opinion PLEASE. When surgery is involved it's always wise to get a seocnd opinion anyway.

Ericka - Oh, do get a second opionion. Wow, it sounds like you are on your way to getting that trailer!

HappyPuppy - thanks for the freezer bag idea, I'll definitely be trying that!

Well, I'm not sure how frugal I'll be today! I've got some things hanging on the line, and my sil gave me some turkey breast, I'll fix it for dinner as soon as I figure out what to do with it.

Everyone who has ever taken a shower has had an idea. It's the person who gets out of the shower, dries off, and does something about it that makes a difference.

Ericka, YES! Get a second and even a third opinion before any surgery. I, too, am wondering why your doctor is resorting to surgery for FBD. This condition is very common in women. Decaffeinating the diet is usually recommended to lessen the occurrance of painful, lumpy cysts.

Hey, great news about the trailer! You'll be decorating it in no time...
Enjoy today!

Like everyone else has said, hang in there and seek out a 2nd opinion.
I myself am going through a similar situation.
My Mom is a BC survivor, and I have had 3 "suspicious" mammos.....I have had to go in for additional views, etc.
I recently discovered 2 lrge lumps, the Doc said just cysts. I was due for my next follow up mammo, so I pointed it out to the tech.
Well, got a call to come back and have ultrasounds done of the cysts and surrounding breast tissue.
The Tech said, yup cysts, so I didn't think much of it.
Two days later I got a call from my Doctor, thinking okay he's just gonna tell me they were cysts and all is well.
They first thing he asked me was, do you have a Surgeon?
They found things they were not happy with! Some of the cysts (I had at least a dozen, many I didn't know were there!)have irregular borders, and tons of microcalcifications that were not there 3-4 weeks ago!
Needless to say I am scheduled for biopsies (yes, plural) in a couple of weeks as it is the SOONEST they can get me in.
It's very scary, especially with my Family's history, but the not knowing is worse!
You will be in my prayers hon!
Best wishes to all!
