Very Important Reminder: October is "BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Just wanted to remind everyone that October is breast cancer awareness month. I have a friend who is an 8 year breast cancer survivor and she was only 37 when she was diagnosed. Here in New Hampshire we have FREE program for BCscreening, for women who cant afford one or who have a HIGH deductible on their insurance. If you check your local board of health or hosptial you can find out if you qualify, you may be surprised, I was, I qualified because we have a HIGH insurance deductible, and I just found this out this year, I would have gotten one anyhow, but "Free" is even better. Alot of drs. now do what is called a "baseline" mamogram if you are in your 30's,I got one when I was 36, and I got my first full one around 43.
