Chicken Tetrazzini

1 small whole chicken
12 oz. package of spaghetti noodles
1 jar sliced mushrooms
1or 2 15oz. cans tomato sauce **
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Wash chicken and remove giblets, etc. Place chicken in large dutch oven. Add water until it is halfway up on chicken. (Do not completely cover chicken with water) Cover and boil until chicken is done and juices run clear.

Remove chicken from pot and place on plate to cool. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti noodles in remaining water. Drain any remaining water, if there is any.

When cool enough to handle, debone chicken and cut into bite size pieces.

Add tomato sauce, soup, mushrooms, and cheese to noodles in pot. Stir well.

Add chicken and heat until warm and cheese is melted.

**Use 1 or 2 cans of tomato sauce--depends on the consistency that you like. I usually end up using about 1 1/2 cans.
