Friday night we had baked pollock that I dredged in a cajun breading, rice pilaf and home canned whole kernel corn, homemade chunky pear sauce.

Not sure yet about tonight, have to go shovel the last third of the driveway; maybe DS and family will be able to get out!

Nice idea on chunking the pear sauce, pieces or just not finely sieved?

I just cut them into small pieces and after cooked mash slightly with an old fashioned potato masher and leave them whatever size they are. DH doesn't like as he calls it mushy pear or applesauce. Works for me because it is easier too! I also add cinnamon to mine.

Driveway is finished now if the sun and warmer temps will take care of the rest of the ice! Cherry Cobbler Bars for dessert!

Black Bean Burgers on homemade Hawaiian Bread that is in the bread machine as we speak. Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on the burgers. Steamed broccoli, and baked potatoes.

Tonight is home baked Red Kidney beans, good ole Maine red hotdogs, and French bread. I canned 20 pounds of Red Kidney Beans a couple of months ago.
