What's for Dinner? February 2009

Welcome to the February 2009 "What's for Dinner" forum!

This forum is home to the Chef Guy award. You can ONLY get a Chef Guy here--and the only way to win one is to submit your favorite MAIN DISH recipes. If your recipe is chosen, it will be published in the "Time To Eat" newsletter from our sister site, MomsMenu, and you'll have a Chef Guy in your awards showcase.

Of course, we welcome all kinds of recipes here, but only main dish recipes can win a Chef Guy.

It's Super Bowl Sunday! I admit I don't much care about the game, but it is an excuse not to have to cook or clean up a big meal

Our church is having a hoagie sale today, so we ordered those for our dinner. No muss, no fuss! I might even get the paper plates out.

I have no idea what we will eat tonite. Adam will be over at his Dad's watching the Super Bowl and eating there so will just be Judy and I. Maybe Grilled Cheese and soup time will tell.
Happy February everyone and for those watching the Bowl hope you enjoy it and your team wins
I will take what I am served knowing someone out there is being served MUCH less

I have to add an ingredient for the white chili that I forgot. 1/2-1 tsp cumin added with the green chiles.

I'm making a pork roast tonight, with mashed taters and gravy, some veggie, and fresh buns (frozen dough.)

I am just making Super Bowl fare today instead of dinner we have marinated steak kabobs, buffalo chicken wings with bleu cheese dip, honey barbeque chicken wings, celery sticks, mexican dip (a layer of cream cheese, a layer of salsa, and topped with shredded cheddar), guacamole dip, salsa, cheese & crackers. peanut m & m's, and lots of soda. If my family eats all of that, there is no way I need to make dinner!

Hi all, going to try this again. I keep getting an error every time I try to post.

Once I get something to go through I'll post again

We are having Super Bowl snacks. Shrimp, chicken fingers, veges and dip.

You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try.
