What's for Dinner? January 2009

Happy New Year! Welcome to the What's for Dinner forum, where we share our menu plans, recipes and more.

This forum is home to the Chef Guy award. You can ONLY get a Chef Guy here--and the only way to win one is to submit your favorite MAIN DISH recipes. If your recipe is chosen, it will be published in the "Time To Eat" newsletter from our sister site, MomsMenu, and you'll have a Chef Guy in your awards showcase.

Of course, we welcome all kinds of recipes here, but only main dish recipes can win a Chef Guy.

What's for dinner?

It really sucks to make a post at the same time the thread is closed! Thanks Barb!

My DH was only born on the 31st because his mother was having a C-section and the 31st was that latest she could have my DH and still claim him as a tax deduction. lol

Tonight, we are having rib-eyes, baked potatoes, and green beans. We've still got some strawberries from the other day. I've got some pound cake and whipped cream so we could have some strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Sorry DeBora! You can smack me with a frypan if you want

We're having Swiss Chicken Bake tonight with rice and mixed vegetables. I made a pepperoni bread to bring with us to the party tonight.

Turkey Nuggets

Made turkey nuggets from the turkey pieces I cut last week and froze. Also made sweet potato latkes and a salad.
