Tonight is pasta in meat sauce with a recipe for garlic bread. Normally I just use butter or margarine sprinkled with garlic salt, but this recipe calls for something different, so I am daring to try it. LOL

Yesterday we had Luau Chicken on the grill.
LUAU CHICKEN
Marinate up to 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts in:
1 cup pineapple juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Marinate at least 2 hours but not more than 6. Grill!
This is adapted from a recipe from Taste of Home. The chicken comes out SO tender, not dry at all.
Today we have been invited to a friend's house for a cookout. We're bringing our "usual" since whenever we don't, they say how much they miss these things:
Portuguese Easter Bread (2 loaves)
Dr. Pepper Baked Beans
brownies

Good Morning ladies,
We ended up having Sonny's for dinner last night, so dinner tonight will be the ribeyes and baked sweet potatoes.
Have a great day!!!

Tonight, I will be having taco salad, without the taco shells since I am back on my diet. I just mix taco meat, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and whatever else I have on had that would be good on a salad. Sometimes I put hot salsa in my salad with Ranch.

Yesterday we had grilled marinated sizzle steaks, baked potatoes, holiday salad and chocolate cake for dessert (DH's brother was visiting and his birthday is next week).
Tonight's dinner will be leftovers from our dinner out on Saturday.
