Tonight, dh is going to grill out steaks we bought on sale at Albertson's. Even though it is a mere 40º outside right now, and the sun is going down~~but, that is what he wanted to do! I am baking potatoes, and mixing up a salad. I have been refusing to pay the high price of the tomatoes, but they have come down in cost and the lettuce was on sale also. So was the salad dressing, and since I just love salads it seemed to be calling out to me!
Oh, and I have been craving an apple dessert so I am going to throw together an Apple Crisp which just sounds perfect for this chilly evening. Hey, they are predicting possible snow here in a few days! We don't get that often--actually, hardly at all--so that is kinda cool! If it happens! Some of you who live where it REALLY snows would laugh at us! Once it even begins to start sticking they close schools, businesses, etc. Good thing really, as none of us can drive on it.
We are sooo not used to it!
