Hope all goes OK for you today, DeBora!

Tonight I have a small meeting at my house with some people from a church group. We have postponed it TWICE already. So I am having them for a soup & bread dinner. I made a huge batch of veg soup & froze it a couple of weeks ago, so the "soupsicles" are defrosting now. Later I'll make a batch of honey-wheat bread and some banana bread (we are overloaded on brown bananas) for dessert.

jjoj-
Thanks for a reminder, because if SO doesn't bring me chicken thighs tonite, I will do twice baked potatoes, filled with broccolli (I have a bunch of it in the fridge) Mozz or cheddar cheese (both are reduced fat) and canadian bacon.
And to think I was trying to think of something different to do with frozen meatballs!-LOL

I was planning of having Stuffed Cabbage tonight but there is no school here again, and I have GD's for the day and there is no way I can get them to eat stuffed cabbage,LOL. I guess Ill take out some frozen spaghetti sauce and make a batch of meatballs and sausage to go with, my stuffed shells(also frozen) I was in Sams and they had these giant bags of stuffed shells on sale, and they were less $$ than if I made them myself and Ive tried them before and they are pretty good.
They just want Elio's frozen pizza for lunch so that is easy and gonna make some peanut butter cookies, that I will make sure they take home so I dont eat them,LOL.

I am

The kids had school here today!!!
yeah!! (sorry Sandie)

I love stuffed cabbage too... Think I will make a small soup/stew to resemble stuffed cabbage tomorrow.. That would be a good use for meatballs instead of subs or pasta!
Boy o' boy are you guys helping me out here today LOL!
I just have to figure out how I am doing the thighs tonite, probably my ginger/soy marinade, because everyone here likes it, including ds#2, and I think it will make for an interesting salad for lunch tomorrow.
Now I just need to figure out Fridays dinner, if I stick to chicken tonite, Soup tomorrow nite, and twice baked taters Thursday. LOL

Last night we made hamburgers and hm french fries with a side salad and pears for desert.

I have pork chops thawing in the fridge (took out of freezer last night) Not sure how I am cooking them yet....Will either do mashed potatoes or stuffing with a veggie.

jjoj,
I bake them, first I toss with olive oil and garlic powder. It adds good flavor. I bake at 425.

Hi Everyone,

I hope that everyone is well. Dinner tonight was going to be beef stroganoff but dh just called and he will be home late so since it's just the boys and I, it will be grilled ham and cheese sandwiches and chicken noodle soup and veggies and dip. They will be happy and I will hardly have anything to clean up lol.

I hope that everyone is staying warm and safe!!
