What I did Frugal today - I went into the Pier I store, signed up for the sweepstakes to give away a VW and a $500 gift card, also put my daughter and 22 yr. old granddaughter's name, left the store without buying anything! I'm proud of myself.

Hi, ladies! I really missed you!
Oh, I hope you are both feeling better, Norma and Kathy. Hot tea and honey sounds just right.
Jean, that is scary! I am glad you are feeling better, but maybe it wouldn't hurt to still call the doctor anyway, though. Bronchitis can be such a bugger to get over sometimes.
Lisa, your walk sounds just so nice and peaceful. It's fun to look at all the Christmas decorating everyone is doing.
Paco, glad you're back! I was just thinking about you.
Anna, that's great! I am sure once you get settled in the new store, things will move quickly for you.
Good job, Blondie! I hope one of you wins.
We got home from our trip late afternoon. It feels soo good to be home again. I missed my dogs. We had a lovely time. Traffic was pretty crazy. Lots of troopers stopping people. And even though no one wants to get a ticket, I truly do think it prevents a lot of accidents.
Frugal was eating our own food and drinks that we brought along. Tomorrow, I will be grocery shopping most of the day. I have a really good recipe I want to post here tomorrow that a friend gave me this week. It is for a breakfast pumpkin soup. Anyway, I will have to find where I put it and will post it before I go out tomorrow.
Take care my friends, and sleep nice!

So glad to see you back I missed you.

Just poppin in for a second... I have been searching for our old ornaments, can't find them so they must be in the shed in one of those totes we have out there buried??? Anyways I did find my dh's families ornaments, they are very old, some a little odd like 2 clear in the front, colored in the back with elfs in them?? I did find a couple of photo ornaments, one with dh and I during the early years of our marriage and one of his Dad and it got me to thinking. I saw at Big Lots the other day clear plastic Christmas ornament balls and I thought wouldn't it be kind of neat to fill them on one side with maybe colored paper scrunched up and figure out a way to insert a photo in them, maybe glued to a toothpick? so that we could have photos of our family, friends, dogs, on our Christmas tree and add new ones each year.

Well, less box of papers in the basement gathering dust! I sorted through, have a tiny bit to file and a lot to toss and a huge amount I shredded! One less box of junk!

Nighty night.
