Good job on the grocery shopping. I'm sitting here at work looking at my flyer and seeing that there were coupons in Sundays paper for things on sale, so I'll hold off buying till I go home and get my coupons.

On the bracelets, No I haven't posted them anywhere yet. They are 8mm faceted colored beads with either gold 4mm or 5mm silver beads in between. I have them in black, light, medium and dark Amethyst, Ruby Red, Emerald Green, Orange, Amber, Pink, Dark Pink, Sun Gold, Golden Topaz and Turquoise blue. So far, LOL! Oh and my friend Betty gave me a small bag of really pretty imitation pearls that I made bracelets with white pearl, silver bead, white again. The girls loved that one. I only charge $2.00 for these it doesn't cost alot for the materials when you buy in bulk so it's something everyone can afford. I think they'll do well at both the mall and our craft show.

Hi, everyone!
Wow, Lee and Barb, both of you did a great job on shopping! Good job to you too, Chris, on your haircoloring! That was a big savings!
I did pretty well shopping today, grocery-wise, anyway. I spent around 100.00 and saved about 37.00. Birthday shopping wasn't too bad. I got them mostly CDs and that kind of thing. Now, I just have to figure out the cakes. Usually, we go out to eat on their birthdays. Anyway, August is just not a really frugal month, I'm afraid. Will have to get back on it in September, for sure. Oh, a frugal thing was getting gas today for 2.49. Not great, but an improvement over that 2.68 a few days ago.
Anna, way to go on your sales! Those bracelets sound like really pretty colors. Hope you sell lots!
Good going, Lauri, not spending any money today. That is definitely hard to do sometimes! Wishing you all a relaxing weekend. Take care!

The kids are all up to date on their shots, we have always had insurance that covered well child visits, until now of course. My youngest is 3 1/2 so I'm sure will get WIC for her no problem. Actually the Doctor and Social Worker at the Health Dept yelled at me for not being on it already.

Great shopping everyone.

I stopped at two garage sales today and got a really cute dress for DD2 for $1, and got 2 t-shirts & 2 blanket sleepers for DD1 size 10 for $6 total. DD2 cried because she didn't get pj's.

Shots.... I know ds could use one or two... the ones you need when you go to college... but with dd on immunesupressive drugs... that is going to be a problem.

Frugal was good will today. I bought a treadmill for $4.00, books, some yarn and lots of puzzles. Total was $40.00. Dollar Tree was about the same. That was all the shopping I did. I tried to get parts and filters for our RO water system. I have been calling this place since May! Well now I know why. They must be goin bankrupt or something. The store was trashed, holes in the walls, a old folding table for the phone.. I was so shocked. This was a great business a few years ago. Some kid was there with some tiny kids... who knows what is going on? Anyway he called the owner.... IF I could wait until 4:00... Told him I had a tow hour drive and was going home... mail the stuff to me. Yeah right, I have been hearing that since May. Where I will get the parts I have no idea!

Some great grocery shopping ladies!

Meijers had triple coupons but I did not go as for now I don't need anything or have room for it. We needed milk but had DH stop on his way home and get it.

Hi! It must be a busy weekend for most everyone! Frugal today was staying home and chopping vegetables for freezing and also eating produce from the garden. I have cantaloupe, but I can't tell for sure if it's ready to pick or not Also, I reserved more library books online. I've been reading Everyday Cheapskate's Greatest Tips, by Mary Hunt from my last library trip. It seems to have some pretty good ideas. Well take care and I hope all of you have a nice Sunday afternoon!

got 5 free shick quattro razors last night. cvs had them on sale for 1.99 each but were sold out. i went to walmart and got them to price match. i got $39.70 in razors for .57 in tax. it was a good deal i wish id had more coupons. today i got more coupons and plan to go thru my coupon box and work on it wends. i have a meeting tues night at work and i wont be able to do anything that night.

another good deal? last night at my sons football game (we lost) but while we were waiting on bubba to come up to us in the stands afterwards, my dd who is 9 collected me over 200 empty soda cans. and i asked them, if we brough a garbage bag, could we collect next game too. they said sure and they didnt care at all if we collect them we also said we would bring a garbage bag to collect the other trash left behind so we could clean the stands. that would help them out too. we get the cans, we get exersise and we get the money. yippee a win win situation.

now i just have to get the kids to crush the cans and then i take them in to be traded. i hope to have over 50 lbs of them. but i dont think i will. its a good amount tho. ill keep everyone posted on what i get for them and how many i come home with from the games. lol. its like easy money. the girls think its a fun game to do. i like that they are still at the age that they think that.

have a good day everyone

Yesterday I did laundry, dishes, etc. normal house stuff. Storm that came through knocked out the power for 45 minutes in the afternoon.

Today we had a church picnic for lunch, had leftovers for dinner and going to my sister's to see her new pool.

Oh I forgot I was playing catch up on the newspapers from the past week and a local grocery had Twister juice on sale for $1 so I stopped after church and bought 4 bottles using 2 $1 coupons. I've never bought Twister juice for $.50 a bottle before
