Yes, that's who I mean. I'm so out of tune with todays music but my friends and neighbors are all excited that they are coming to Columbus.
ZZTop too.

Anna--I love ZZtop, when I was in college they preformed at this club back home. It was the best concert I have been to. This club was so small you could almost touch them. Have a good time.

LisLynn18--
Very impressive--those are some really great deals!
My find today was 128 oz Xtra laundry detergent for $1.99 at Walgreens. They seem to put that on sale pretty regularly. Nothing too frugal today other than that.

Barbszy, I meant to say that I just love the idea of using bins on your porch to put paper plates, cups, etc. How clever! These past few days have been perfect porch weather.

Yes, here you have to call the city and complain. Anna, the 'code' here is when the weeds are six inches high, the city sends out a letter stating mow it or we will and you will be charged XXX. They need to charge by the day or something. The sad thing is, most of the lots are owned by lazy men and the wives end up mowing it. When they have time. I would like to see the day my husband would try that _____ on me. I don't think so. Maybe I will go measure the weeds.....
Homemade laundry soap.... Has anyone gotten a film on the inside of the washer? I read somewhere this can happen. I thought it was from the piece of crap washer I am stuck with. Hum... what if I dump it in front of this busness..... with a huge sign saying " CUSTOMER SATISFATION..... I DON'T THINK SO" maybe chain the washer to a post or something... So it takes the store a while to get rid of it? Wouldn't that be fun?

Anna, that's so cool--Rascal Flatts AND ZZ Top! That will be a great show.
jjoj, I got tired of trekking IN the house and UP the stairs to grab supplies while keeping tabs on a toddler so I took a clean dishpan and an old popcorn tin and filled them with "outside supplies." There's also a small pair of scissors for opening freezie pops, and a bottle opener in there.

It's been 78 and 83 degrees here lately
My sister is in Denver with the snow storm, I called her laughing so hard and told her that we had the fan on-LOL!
Anyway, my job is pretty bad still, most of our top salers have left and transferred to a different team. I got a call today from an application that I had placed earlier for Hilton Head, which sales the very nice Hilton Head vacations in Florida, South Carolina and Gatlinburg. They get paid weekly and they get paid that day for deals. I want a better job and that's why I'm going to this class but I am not sure what I want to do. I don't know if I want to chance going to a new job or to stay at the one I'm at, where I have benefits. I'm miserable at my job, dreaming that I'm still there all night, but it's there and I know the job. I am going to call to see about interviewing but I don't know what I should do. I'm hoping that in June when I get my certificate in Medical Coding, I will have a good job then.
P.S. my picture is on one of the ads for my current job when I was a top seller.
I could use some advice!!!!

Good evenign all!!
My frugal thing for today, and probably my only exercose, was to go dig daylilies out of my backyard to be given away to my boss. He bought his first home last summer and this year they are ready to start the landscaping that will make the house, their home. These are the remnants of a whole daylily bed that bordered my lawn and the lawn next door where the bed actually was. When the guy next door wanted to put up a fence o divide the properties, he told me to take them all, he was just going to toss them. So the woman who lived on the other side of me, and I, got out there one Saturday morning, in a light rain, in the cold, a few years ago, and dug out the bed completely.
This evening, my nephew was going to mow for the first time, so while he was getting the front lawn done, I grabbed a trowel and a plastic bucket and went and dug up all that I could see.
Then I called my boss and asked if he and his wife would like a donation of good old, garden variety daylilies.
I filled out 5 rebate forms yesterday, and will be getting back, not a lot of money, but enough. I have to just keep plugging away at them.
What a good job on the yard saling. I was on my way to the grocery the other market and an annual fela market had set up in the parking lot of a bar. I was so tempted, but I had a little bit of stuff that had to be refrigerated, so I just kept going.
I have been cleaning out my closet and dresser drawers of anything that won't fit anymore - no more dreaming - I will never be a size 10 again. The woman I take to work every day - her husband is a minister at the rescue mission in Atlantic City - so I am filling just one bag at a time, and when I drop her off at night, she takes the bag inside with her for him to cart off to the mission.
Well ladies, better go for now, and get some sleep. My nephew's father should be here in an hour to pick him up - and he already left to go home on his own. But I still have to be awake and let him know where his child is.
Take care all!! Norma

jjoj - I stopped at Meijer for my milk today. I also bought some bannas for .25 lb and grapes .99 lb. I had two plus lbs of the purple seedless grapes, now they are gone as two children devoured them. I will have to go back and get some more when I do my coupon shopping as they have triple coupons this week.
My unfrugal was buying gas for the car. Mine does get good gas mileage as it is small thank goodness. My Meijers ha a coupon on the bottom of their cash register tape for up to .09 off a gallon of gas. I compared prices and theirs was cheapes so filled up and got an addition .03 off per gallon as I use the cheapest.
