Good morning!
Barbszy, I'm so sorry about your daughter falling. That must have been a little scary. I hope she is feeling much better today.
Frugal today is staying home and getting the freezer meals done that I didn't get to yesterday. Also I need to get some paperwork finished before it takes over my drawer! Other than that, just doing school and trying to think of what to make for supper. Take care, everyone, and have a great day!

I have been frugal since Monday, but dh has not been. He has been in meetings at downtown. So there are extra costs. His lunches are so expensive, the parking and the extra gas. Thank goodness today is the last day. The only frugal thing is that they reinburse his parking (he just needs to remember to keep the reciepts and actually do his expense report) and they supply dinner for each night.

Have a nice day everyone.

Our ER fee is $75....before January it was only $35 but as everywhere else insurance prices go up and benefits go down
DH's company used to have fantastic benefits and while the salary was a bit lower than others for comparable work, the benefits more than made up for it. Well, the salary hasn't changed and the benefits are no better than average

I caught DD sleeping on her sore arm so she must not be too bad! She still has her hospital bracelet on

Barbszy, isn't that just the way of it. Glad your daughter is doing okay. She sounds like a sweet little girl.
Redcardinalbird, I love the Dealz store! I like the one on Hurstbourne best. The one on Preston doesn't have frozen or refrigerated products. I didn't realize they had cereal. I may have to go there Friday. Isn't it funny-I may have even seen you there before and not even realized it! Well, take care and I'll talk to you all later!

Our new benifits have changed also. Our co-pay has gone down, and our well visits are now free. But if we have to go to the ER the deductable is $200. So I don't know.

Leasmom--
Good luck with Citicorp--I hope that works out for you! Stressful jobs are no fun!

Barbszy--
Glad your daughter seems to be doing okay with her arm--wouldn't it be great to be as resilient as kids are?! About the Surefit slipcovers: I bought two of them a few years ago to put on an old loveseat and chair. The furniture was in great condition, but UGLY! I found green and white plaid slipcovers from Surefit that go perfectly in my living room, and they have worn like iron! Plus I can throw them in the washer when they get dirty! Gotta love that

Frugal for the week is bringing my oatmeal to work for breakfast and packing my lunch also--these two things have really added up for me! Not so frugal was a visit to WalMart yesterday--I had the afternoon off and had time to browse--BAD idea! I'm actually better off going on my lunch hour because I have to stick to my list since I don't have time to look at anything else!

All for the moment--have a great day, everyone!

Good Morning Everyone

Barbzy

Sorry to hear about your daughters accident but glad to hear no broken bones. Bluebird, $150.00 per half hour in the ER, Wow! We havenít been to the ER in about 3-4 years so I have no idea how much ours is. We only pay I think $100.00 out of pocket plus like 20% of the hospital bill. And I think theres a deductible, canít remember how much.

Frugal today is bringing my lunch, egg salad with celery sticks instead of bread. Also 2 bananas for my breakfast and afternoon snack and a baggie with pretzels instead of buying from the snack machine. When I was at Walmarts this weekend they were giving out free samples of coffee sugar free french vanilla coffee cream. It was from Nestles. It was really good but the cost for a small jar was over $3.00 Walmarts had a generic for $1.86 so I bought it instead. I brought some in to work and have that in the afternoon instead of eating sugary stuff. Seems to satisfy that afternoon craving for sugar and at less than 30 calories (serving size is 3 tsp.) I use 2 tsp. and less than 4 grams of carbs. It is a healthy alternative.

Well thatís about it for now. We have another cool, dark rainy day here in OhioÖ cantí wait for the sun to come back out. Washed clothes last night and again had to hang in the basement.

Anna--
Funny that you would mention egg salad--I made a batch of it on Sunday night for sandwiches this week. I'd been craving it lately!
Have a great day!

Egg salad sounds good! I will make some today. I made chicken salad last week and it was very good. I ate it all, no one else really likes it. Dh does but he is in a picky mood.
