Need Help Becoming Frugal!!!

I am new to this thread-but it sounds like it's somewhere I need to visit regularly. My husband is constantly getting on my case about spending too much money. I just can't seem to help it. I have started working from home so we can start saving more money and have extra to spend each month, but until I really start making money, I have to watch it.

One thing I wish I could be better at is clipping coupons and actually using them! I feel like I have a huge pile of them, but I either forget them, or I don't buy what I have coupons for. Any tips out there?

Thanks, Sarah

My first suggestion would be to find the books/book by Amy Daczycn(sp?) called the Tightwad Gazette I, II, III. They are sold separately or in the combined edition of one book.

They are absolutely great, and you will learn alot. Some of the infor is far stretched but, it is a good stepping stone for information.

The books are a good way to start you thinking about saving $$. I also make it a game, me against the system. I try to feed & cloth my family frually so we have more to spend on the trips we love to take. cau

Frugal Steps

Sarah

Step 1 on the frugal train: Don't buy it if you can borrow it. If you haven't bought it yet, get it from your local library, look it over and see if it's something you can relate to and then buy it.
