Good choice Connie. Just had 2 poached eggs
and 2 Kiwis. I hear they are good for you and I
do like them.
Happy Sunday all

Interesting topic Donna

And I hear you.. though my doctor never comments on my weight, I have stayed pretty much the same as long as I've had her she does tend to want to push the meds. I firmly tell her No on all the latest, greatest new med inventions. My dh's old cardiologist ( sadly he passed away). Anyways dh asked him once about this new fad diet pill that people were dropping off the pounds.. he said "wait, it hasn't been tested much on general population yet" and sure enough within a year people were having all kinds of major heart issues from it. I think it was called Fin Fin ( not the correct spelling).

So my best weight loss is walking my dog.

Anna

I walk around a bit with Panda when it is not
too cold for either of us. She needs to lose
some weight too. She will follow me if we are
outside but not in house unless it is to the front
door.
I feel so tired but don't want to get in bed

It's very had to eat healthy when I am at my mother in laws with extended family and there are so many treats out and huge meals. Tomorrow I need to get back on track. I will be going grocery shopping and will make sure to stock up on fruits, veggies and lots of other healthy things to eat. I do love Greek yogurt so that is a healthy snack with lots of protein and calcium.

I got some Smart Water today and am eating almonds and a string cheese stick for a snack. One of our cats likes me to play her version of tag/hide n seek around the house sometimes so will take her up on it next time the mood strikes her.

Patti, Smart water is bottled water with electrolytes in it. It doesn't taste any different than regular bottled water to me but gives me the extra minerals. It may just be in CA since we're big on drinking bottled water or it might be called something else in other states.

Thank you will have to pay attention to the water bottles when out next time. I will find out Friday
if my electrolyes are up to par. Had blood work last week so will find out a lot about me I guess. If they are not up to par will buy that water if I see it

Having strep over New Year's helped me to lose 6 pounds! Definitely not a fun way to lose weight, though. Now that I am eating again I have gained 3 back but since the holidays are over I am back to eating healthy again. Today's breakfast was a greek yogurt smoothie and a piece of whole grain peanut butter toast. What I really need to do is exercise more but that's hard in the winter with either snowy or icy roads and early darkness since walking is my exercise of choice. At least I can go on long walks on the weekends.
