Firming Up After Weight Loss

I recently lost 25 lbs and found I was looking better but I had no muscle tone. I tried many forms of exercise but found my favorite to be martial arts!. At 40 years(almost) of age I never would have thought I could do all those throws and kicks. I have not lost anymore weight but I have dropped a complete size in clothes! I went from doing 1 push up to doing 20 in 6 months. Just wondering if anyone else has found success in a partcular activity after large weight loss. Let me know

debnechtel...I just lost twenty pounds and find water exercises works the best for me. Seems to get all the muscles of your body without strain. Love to wear tank tops in the summer so don't want flabby arms. Still have good muscle tone even at almost 67 years old. Of course I live in Florida and can go swimming any time of the year.

Any kind of exercise is important to do.

I hear a lot of people are going to curves and love it. If there was one closer I might check it out. Everyone seems to get great results in a positive manner!!!!

I had "bat wings" as I like to call them.....but since i started training they have disappeared. So I went and bought a whole new summer wardrobe .....with tops that showed my new arms!!!! It felt great!!!!

Keep up your training!!!

I hope that when I am 67 I still have muscle tone!!!!

Water workout sounds are lucky that you can swim year round.......I can not say the same here. The winters are very cold and the summers are far too short!!!! I'm not sure if the pool in the next town runs water aerobics. I will have to check ,sounds like a very relaxing way to exercise.

Take care
