Oh gosh, the post Superbowl bloat! I was fairly bad. I ate an entire (small) container of merlot cheddar cheese and scrumpy crackers and some baked taco appetizers with cheese and salsa. I feel and look like the Michelin tire cartoon.

I have NOT lost my Holiday Five. I went out today and got WW breakfast and dinner entrees, a week's worth and two HUGE bags of Spinach. Premeasured snacks for my mid day snacks. I am going to get this off. Hopefully I can start running tomorrow. This lack of energy is awful.

I knew I should have started this contest AFTER Superbowl. Sorry friends.

How is everyone else doing/feeling??

I bought a elliptical machine today. That should help me. I bought new workout shoes. Hubs is putting the machine together right now.

Congrats Connie!! That's awesome. New workout "stuff" always inspires me.

I went to bed at 7:30 after sleepytime tea and read. Then woke up at 1am and could not go back to sleep. Took a benedryl and crashed until 7:30. Best I have felt in a month!!!! I did go to the gym and ran two miles. No weights. I need some cardio right now. Going tomorrow to get back on my M/W/Fr/Sat schedule.

Yay!!!!

Jodi, I'm sure you'll work that SB weight off soon.

Connie, a new elliptical sounds great.

We changed our internet service back to AT&T to get a better deal and it turned out to be a major overall for them to have to lay all new cable from our house to two other houses across the street, which took them a week to do. They finished yesterday and filled up the deep holes that they were in up to their waists. It is a good thing because it is pouring down rain today. I'm glad to have internet access again!

I've lost a half a pound so far this month, which isn't much. I've been eating mostly soups and salads for meals but get salt cravings between meals.

Checking in from the Witness Protection, I have lost a total of 5.5 lbs since January. Haven't really done things differently other than being sick twice SO if I'm sick 12 more times...... LOL I do need to up my water I was doing well before I was sick now I'm drinking to much coffee as it feels good on my throat but warm water would do the same.

Warm water with lemon and honey for your throat maybe?

I was halfway through Thursday and realized I was low carbing. So I finished Thursday, then Friday. Slipped a bit over the weekend but am back on today. Not following a plan, just cutting out sugar and white flour. I am weighing myself everyday to see the numbers drop.

I need to drink more water too! I am drinking a cookie dough lattee this morning. Homemade and yummy.

Hey gals!

Nothing really new to report. I have added a mile of walking to my routine so I run two - hit weights - walk one post. So far so good but no real noticeable action on the waistline.

I am trying to increase my water as well.

Roberta, sorry you lost 5 in that way, but it's off! Feel better.

Have a super week.

J~

It's been a stressful week with my coworker off and no time for walking breaks until today.

My dh had allergy testing done and is allergic to dairy products, gluten, soy, rice, almonds, and several other things. He decided to go to Costco and do the grocery shopping this week so the fridge is filled with lots of fresh fruit.

Howdy!

Apricot what CAN your husband eat? Broccoli??? I hope he is doing ok.

Well girls, 2 weeks left. I am on my push. I have been better. Feel less muffin toppy.

We have ripped down walls in our living room and kitchen and we think we have finally fixed the water damage once and for all now that the outside is sealed. Gave me a chance to change my living room color which I hated and I have been up and down ladders both weekend days for a month. I will be thrilled to going back to regular living without tools all over the place.

Have a great weekend!!! Miss everyone. Just been busy.

Jodi

Jodi, It sounds like you're getting a different type of exercise with the ladder climbing and your house got a great makeover too!

My dh is also allergic to green beans and cauliflower and doesn't like broccoli but potatoes and corn are okay. He found some gluten free Chex cereal but hasn't found a good substitute for the milk yet and bread is also out. We cooked some plain chicken breasts last weekend and have been alternating that with some Tequila Lime Chicken wings and potatoes and fruit, but need something different. I think we will have an avocado and tuna for lunch today. I've been checking the internet for gluten free recipes but a lot of them use soy or rice as substitutes.

I have lost 2 pounds that I've kept off for 2 weeks with eating less processed carbs in spite of work being as stressful as ever.

Hope everyone is doing well and hanging in there.
