Vegatarian fried rice

  • Veggie Fried Rice

    2 cups Rice
    -- dry 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
    1 teaspoon Ginger
    1 clove Garlic
    -- minced
    1/2 teaspoon Salt
    1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper --
    freshly ground
    2 cups Vegetables -- any mix

    Prepare vegetables first, then cook rice according to package instructions. If you like the texture of fried veggies, fry onions and mushrooms in a small amount of oil or broth. Add spices and vegetables to rice shortly before it has finished cooking. Cook mixture until veggies are done to your taste. You may use a frying pan, Dutch oven or wok to make this recipe.
