Post Tent Camping

Dear Kim:
I have been camping for over 38 years, and started out in a staion wagon, graduated to a tent, then a tent-trailer, truck camper and now in a trailer. We love it and now are seasonal camping as we no longer travel much.
We love to go to Cape Cod in the spring and fall before it gets very busy.
I think since you are in a tent, you would like to cook in a crock-pot or electric oven, which makes it easier to prepare meals, giving you more time to have fun.
When I tent camped, I prepared many of the meals at home then packed them when I could in plastic storage bags or plastic containers.I assume you use a cooler, so this makes packing food easier and avoids spillage.
Camping is fun and not supposed to be a lot of work, so just enjoy it. Would suggest if you like State Park camping that you reserve ahead, most Parks take reservations, especially a must for holiday weekends and during the months of July and August when many have vacations.
Have fun, enjoy ~~~Joan
