During our family vacation to Europe, we took the night train to get from country to country. It was a great way to kill two birds with one stone: A. we didn't have to pay for hotels B. we spent the tedious moments traveling many hours across country boundaries sleeping. I forget the name of the type of "seats" we got, but basically they could be used during the day, and then folded down to become beds at night. It was a little bit tight because we were squeezing 4 of us in there, but we made it work
