I'm pretty sure your homeowners' insurance would cover any liability if you own your home. If not it would fall onto the landlord's I think if something terrible were to happen. ??? Anyone else know for sure?

to be a hassle.

Good article! I think every article or list of tips for garage sales should include TAKE YOUR SIGNS DOWN AFTERWARDS! Good job on that point. I have never done this, but I get urges to pull down signs from last week (or sometings last month) and go knock on the person's door and hand them back their sign. I hate that!

One of my favorite things in the world to do! Garage Sales and Flea Markets! I'm going tomorow for part of the day- some of my best finds-

1 crochet beaded lariet from circa 1925(hexagonal beads) siam red with fine steel cut beads in the tassles, all strung on red silk in perfect condition 72" long( must have been stored or put away in a trunk.)Bought for $2.00 what it is worth - around $90.

1 piece of 'tramp art' a 3 1/2" inch heart pin, cut out of old masonite, set in the back a old brass pin. Bought for $3.50 (circa 30's or 40'). Old cloth zippers wrapped concentricaly with the teeth up creating an interesting pattern One of a kind ! What it is worth around $55.00

One of my daughters even got in to the act , her best find
A book from the early 50's with good color illustrations the kind you flip over( 2 covers - one half the "Jungle Book" with separate color cover, one half the "Wizard of OZ" with separate color cover.
She bought it for $ 2.00 it is worth about $18-24. But what is better she loves the book and reads it !
