New uses for old doors!

I picked up some old solid wood (no slats in them) bi-fold doors at the Habit For Humanity store that are such a beautiful wood! When I saw them I knew right away there was my next room divider! I bought an additional 3 hinges and took off the ones on the doors and painted them all with a hammered copper paint. Put them together and have a beautiful new 8 foot tall room divider! The whole thing cost $40, much less than the nice one I bought years ago at a store ready to go!

These sound great. I'd love to see a picture of them if you have one.

Just beautiful.

I've used an old door on top of two trash cans as a table for a garage sale.

Old doors can also make a thrifty desk! Take two file cabinets and place them as far as the doors will extend or as far as you want your desk top to be and place the door on top of them. Makes an inexpensive nice desk!

Those are beautiful doors and certainly a bargain in comparison to the room dividers I see out there now.
