I bet the ribbons are pretty! But the twist tie idea is ony for the special ones just so they don't accidentally get knocked off the tree and broke. Kind of an extra assurance! LOL Although I guess I could save all the red and green ones for the tree! LOL

I sometimes use them to mark the end or beginning of rows when I crochet. You could also use them on your knitting needles to mark stitches on your needles. I already use them to hold plants up with.
If you do any kind of beadwork and have a few beads left over you can sometimes thread them on the wires and twist together so they are always together and won't get lost. You can also then take to the store to match up colors much easier.

Cool paper clip use

My son's screw to his eye glasses fell out & to fix them temporarily until we could get them fixed I cut a paper clip to fit where the screw goes. Believe it or not it was a perfect fit.
Hope this helps someone out there.

I use them to close frozen french fry bags, and once I stripped all the paper off of one and used it to hold my eye glasses together until I could get to the eye doctors for a fix.
