How often do you clean your windows?

How often do you clean your windows, inside and out?
I usually do mine every spring and fall.
If I asked my mom this question she would say, "clean the windows, OH, am I supposed to do that?!! LOL!!!!

We finally got new windows, the kind that tilt in so now I can actually clean the outsides too!!! This will be the first winter that we can't feel the breeze coming through and I don't have to shrink wrap them.

Oh yeah I clean them when the smudgy fingerprints and dog snot get too noticeable on them.

Another tidbit for anyone using those markers that write on windows and you supposedly can windex right off OH SURE
Read the fine print, unless you wipe it off right away "it may be harder to remove". May take several soap and water washings etc. OMG I can't get rid of the smudges (not from kid or dog either...) Maybe I'll hide them with halloween decorations.

I have casement windows that crank out so you can clean both sides, so they are pretty easy to keep clean. I do all the windows in the house at least twice a year, some more often than others. I like to do my kitchen windows a little more often, because we have a view from those windows and I have a minimum of window coverings on them. The dirt is noticeable more quickly.

My sister is like your Mom! I would bet that she has never cleaned the windows in her home. She has lived there over 17 years! Oh well, I don't have to live there! LOL!

I clean the inside of our windows about once a month. I clean the glass storm door at least once a week!

DH pressure washes the outside of the house and windows about every three months.

Not as often as I should but more than I want to!!!!! Usually spring and fall as the storm windows go up or down. We have no air so most of summer they are up and curtains are 3/4 way down so I can't see the dirt but in winter I like to see the birds at my feeders clearly so I make an effort.

Once in the Spring, and again in the Fall. I am also know to occasionally touch-up a window or two if, or as needed (in-between). Clean windows are heavenly.
