shocking Doody stain on carpet??

Do you have suggestions for getting diarehha stains out of carpet?? My dd got a sudden case one day, and it got all over. I had run out of carpet cleaner and tried to use dishsoap, but there's still some marks on the carpet. Maybe a homemade remedy or at least a cheap brand that actually works??

I don't know if its readily available everywhere but I use a product we sell at our clinic called Vet Solutions Carpet, Stain & Odor Eliminator. Great Stuff! not sure what the price would be we sell it for about $9.00.

I agree with Kimmyo.

You can also try oxiclean or the new Clorox brand. THere is also a spray cleaner called Hot Shot (and other brands) that remove tough stains.

A carpet is hard to clean with soap, it never comes out and can stain the carpet worse.

Thanks for the suggestions! I forgot about the Oxyclean!! I used that the last time this happened and it worked GREAT! I'll have to go buy some though because it had happened at my MIL's and she had some on hand.

Natures Miracle works too by cleaning the stain and removing any bacteria that leaves a smell behind. Most pet stores carry it.
